Our Story
Built for people who camp the way their grandparents did — slowly, and with intention.
Sunset Park Campground sits on a stretch of land that has welcomed outdoor visitors long before the numbers on the mailbox existed. We're five minutes from the center of Walnut Cove and twenty from Winston-Salem, but the moment you turn onto Sunset Park Road, the pace of the highway fades into something else entirely.
Our grounds are wooded, level in the right places, and shaded by a canopy that thickens as summer arrives. We maintain a quiet, respectful atmosphere — this isn't a party campground. It's a place where you come to sleep without an alarm, cook over an open fire, and remember what it feels like to be somewhere that isn't rushing you anywhere.
Whether you're pulling into a full-hookup site with your travel trailer, parking your tent beneath an oak, or spending a weekend in one of our cabins, you'll find the same thing here: attention to the details that matter, and the freedom to do nothing at all.
